That means that they either don't have the money to buy even the most basic things, like food or shelter, or they have just enough to keep surviving from day to day. That’s why some turn to wood and charcoal which in the long run can cause respiratory diseases. The Kenya Ceramic Jiko is a portable stove that uses charcoal as fuel. It reduces fuel use by 30-50% because it uses less wood and charcoal therefore there are less tress to cut down. With this device it can provide people with nutritious meal cooking it in a healthy way and saving them money.
